What a weekend! The hubby and I went to Dallas to go to the Reformation Day party and the boyscout reunion. We had a great time.

Lately I had been feeling bogged down at work and this was just the break I needed. I got to play bass guitar with the guys and run around in the woods with my hubby. My family let me play Auntie Robs all weekend and I was loved on very much. The Lord has blessed me with things the wretched sinner saved by grace never EVER deserved.

I was reminded of justification, and that no matter what, Christ's death was sufficient to redeem me from my wretchedness. Though I struggle everyday with the desire to satisfy my own flesh or to work to make God love me, I know that neither work. God is pleased with me solely through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. I can do nothing to make Him pleased with me because it is finished. He sees me though the blood of Christ and that is all sufficient for me (for even me).

It was good to be loved by my extended earthly family this weekend, but even better to be loved by my Father. Praise Jesus.

:(

It is very sad to me that some people use their MySpace/Xanga/Facebook/Blog to air their most painful feelings.

I hurt for them.

Please find a real friend to help.

I like being married.

There's not much to say right now. I'm deliriously happy with my handsome husband.:) I'm still waiting on more wedding photos, but they will be well worth it.

Here are some things I have learned since being married:

1. I really like PBS. No one ever told me that they have these amazing travel shows!! Travel to Edinburgh from my couch? YES PLEASE!!!

2. Having a hard job isn't as hard when you have a wonderful love to come home to.

3. I miss internet and cable at my house... But it's ok, because my husband will take me to the coffee shop to use the internet there. :)

4. When husband and wife work together, they can get the TRASHED house to look decent in 10 minutes before people come over!

5. You have to decide... If you fart under the covers and move the covers or try to contain the smell underneath... When you're single, no one else has to smell it but you... But you share EVERYTHING with your spouse.

Ok... Wedding pictures!

We were pretty. I like marriage. :) Yay.
